This is actually an account of what my wife saw late one night. It is important to note that I am the one who has a fascination with the topic of UFOs, and she is the one that is skeptical and has no interest in the subject at all, which makes her sighting of the UFO extra interesting to me.

Although she no longer smokes, she did back then and would go outside to smoke, as she did not like to do so in the house. I don’t remember the exact date, but one night in December a little after midnight, she went outside in the front yard to have a cigarette. She looked up and first thought she saw some geese flying, as they often come south to Texas for the winter. After looking at them for a second, she noticed that if they were geese, they were not ‘honking’ as they ususally do, and were carrying v-shaped flashlights!

She realized that she was seeing something very unusual. As she described it to me, it was a series of  individual v-shaped lights arranged in a ‘V’ pattern, with no flashing lights or beacons. It made no sound at all.  The UFO went out of her view behind the canopy of a huge oak tree we had in the front yard. She got up out of the chair she was sitting in and ran to the other side of the tree, so she could position herself to see the UFO come out into view again, but there was nothing there. It had disappeared.

She got really scared and came running back toward our house, where I met her at the front door as I was just about to join her in the front yard. The look on her face was probably about the same as if she had just seen a ghost. The sighting terrified her enough, that it took several months my prodding to get the full story in detail that I just relayed, which is unusual for her. She would only tell me that she thought she saw a UFO and that it had disappeared behind the tree canopy.

I only wish I was outside just a minute sooner so I could have seen it, too. Despite my interest in UFOs, I have still never seen one.

At about 8:30pm my dad and I were watching a high school football game. I was nine years old and wasn’t that interested in football. From the stadium there was a great view of down town. I couldn’t help but to stare.

I sat there and stared for about three minutes until I saw four red lights in the sky off in the distance. I watched in amazement as these lights got bigger and came closer and closer to the ground, but stayed in the air hovering. One of the lights turned to a brighter white light and disappeared. I called for my dad and pointed in the direction of the lights. My dad looked at the lights and said that  they were just airplanes until he saw them flash a bright white light and vanish. During the rest of the game I would glance back to see if they were there, but they never came back. What my dad and I witnessed that night was amazing.

One afternoon after getting off of my rural school bus and walking across our ranch open pasture–over a mile walk– towards our home, I watched a ‘UFO’ suddenly appear above me and seemingly ‘coast’ across the sky silently above me…as if watching me. However, I was not afraid, just curious. Be it being a kid or innocent, I don’t know???  It was just awesome and different.

The UFO was a round like a globe, had a metal railing walkway around the very center of the silver metal ball/globe, and three round windows above the railing.

  This was in 1953.  I was 13 yrs. old.  I simply sat down on a rocky hillside in the warm Spring sunshine and watched without concern because I simply figured that it was something that our OWN government had designed and was testing it out in this open ranch land (we often had small airplanes to land on our ranch because it was very open prairie and virtually no houses but ours).

At that period of time we had a number of large research and military Army and Air Force bases not too far from our ranch. I just thought it was probably simply something like blimps that we occasionally saw flying into our local military bases during that period of time. Huge, low flying airplanes were common everyday in our area of Texas.

The object/UFO just seemed to float leisurely….and then as suddenly as it appeared…it disappeared into the evening sun and into the west almost instantly in total silence.

Excited about WHAT I had watched, I quickly rushed home and told my older brother who was a high school senior, when he drove his car home from his after school activities.  I was shocked at his reaction because he roared in laughter.  He mocked me, made fun of me and called me a liar.

Totally intimidated by his rejection and hidiously ugly put down… when I knew I was simply telling the truth—I never told anyone about my story except my Mother that night, who agreed with me that it was probably something being ‘TESTED’ by the army or air force.

Then to my greatest JOY…in 1958…after tons of OTHER news reports throughout those years of OTHER people seeing flying saucers, other objects and stories…the wonderful LIFE MAGAZINE printed a series on the all the space ship stories. Wow! How awewsome! They HAD a photo and drawing of EXACTLY what I had watched cross our open prairie sky that afternoon when I was 13 years old and yet out of fear, I had refused to ever say a word to others.

I was now FINALLY able to tell my story without condemnation or rejection (well, some ha ha)…my senior year as class salutatorian, with confidence and comfirmation. People KNEW that I was telling the truth—even my brother.

Sure there were those that gave me ‘the look’…ha ha but that was okay with me, because now I had other people and Life Magazine to back me. I kept that magazine for years and today at the age of 68 I wish with all my heart I still knew WHERE that it ended up…but I don’t. I have no doubt that there are folks that CREATE stories for attention but there are also many, many thousands who KNOW TRUTH.

We as a people are arrogant and totally dense IF we think there is NOTHING beyond this beautiful ball called earth!  God created the Universe, the awesome human body, every ebb of science and nature. So, if we can look in the mirror and SEE our own wonderous human bodies, so intricately made…what is so hard…to believe that OTHER beings are NOT  beyond our knowledge, vision and planet.  Pleez!

Like you—I KNOW…what I KNOW…that, I know. Be safe, be blest & keep enjoying every joy that this wonderful universe offers! It’s far beyond the imagination of mankind. How neat is that? It’s always better to REACH for the stars and miss… than reaching for the dirt and hit!!!  Onward & upward!

When I was a little boy I saw something I couldn’t believe! I was playing outside in my backyard in the evening when I looked up in the sky and saw a big UFO flying across the sky! I yelled for my mother and when she came outside she saw it too.

The UFO was being followed by millitary jets from Ellington air force base by my house! I want to say this occured in 1988 or some time around that year. I’ve been to Roswell N.M. and read and saw that a woman had encountered a ufo at this time and the ufo she saw was the same thing I saw in broad daylight as a boy. This has always bothered since I was a boy because nobody ever believed what I saw that day. Only me and my mother know the truth! I have alway’s wondered why the military was following it and what did they know about. I also know that it was on all the news channels.

Harry and Bonnie Gibson have hunted on their land near Alto, Texas for many years. In order to track the animals on their property, they have installed dozens of motion sensitive infra-red cameras, so that they know what to expect near each feeder. However, one night their camera captured something quite unexpected: a UFO!

As hogs set off the camera, a column of lights can be seen in the background. Over a 15 minute period, the camera snapped a series of 18 photos of the UFO, as they danced randomly around the tree line.
