I was walking down by the lake at about 2:00 a.m., talking with my friends Johnny, Mike, and Ricky when we suddenly noticed a flashing light up above. Johnny said, “Look at that plane”, so I looked and I said, “Oh!” Suddenly Ricky said, “Wow its moving so fast!”, but I said, “It just looks like it is.”

But then I saw that it really was, then it started moving across the sky in less then a second. We got up and then it started flashing some very odd colors. I said, “It’s a UFO!”,  and then we heard a big loud screech as it suddenly disappeared. We thought it would come back, but it didn’t. As we went back home we kept on thinking of it, and that we would never foget that night.

I was traveling back to College Station, TX from the Houston area on state Highway 6, about 10 miles south of Navasota, when I noticed some lights coming from the west. What caught my attention about these lights was that there were no flashing beacons as required on all airplanes.

As the lights approached closer, still no blinking beacon lights were visible. The craft was moving fairly slow and I could now tell that it had a distinct red, green, and amber light. If it was to continue its current direction and speed, the craft was going to cross our path almost directly overhead. I estimate it was only about 1000 to 1500 feet in altitude and the red, green, and amber lights were very apparent now. There was one light in each corner forming a nearly perfect isosceles triangle.

At this point, I was thinking… Wow! I might actually be seeing one of the triangular shaped UFOs that many have been reporting. The craft then went out of my view from the front windshield as it was directly above us.

This happened on a Sunday night at approximately 8:30 PM, so there was some moderate traffic coming out of Houston. Because I was also having to keep an eye on other cars, I was not able to lean closer to the front windshield to see if I could make out any outline to the craft. However, my 13 year old son was also in the front seat watching the lights, as he had seen me paying close attention to them. He leaned up close to the front windsheild as he was able to see a faint outline of a triangular craft behind the lights. So there it is… our first possible UFO sighting!
